Prosoll Law, a firm with a legacy of 30+ years, has announced diversification into Civil and Commercial practice, while retaining its core at White Collar Crime and Criminal Litigation practice. This development is coupled with the onboarding of Arjit Benjamin as an Associate Partner in the Civil/Commercial matters and the promotion of Vaibhavi Sharma and Lakshya Parasher as Associate Partner and Principal Associate respectively.
Speaking on the diversification, Founder, “Principal Harsh K. Sharma commented, “The niche we have developed in the field of white-collar crime and criminal litigation has allowed us to develop deep expertise and knowledge of the particular legal issues and nuances involved. This has, no doubt, given us an edge as far as white-collar crime and criminal litigation are concerned. However, when clients see our successful track record, they expect us to take up cases across other practice areas because of the trust they repose in us. Our plans to diversify into commercial and civil disputes and advisory work are primarily driven by a tremendous demand pull from our clients, who have seen our work during pre-litigation advisory, litigation strategy, and our court craft. Arjit’s onboarding will allow us to give assistance to our clients in commercial and civil legal disputes and advisory work.
We are looking to widen our reach to a broader range of clients while giving a larger service offering to our current clients.”
Congratulating Vaibhavi and Lakshya on their promotions, he further added, “Both Vaibhavi and Lakshya have been an integral part of the firm, displaying a remarkable work ethic and a deep understanding of the law. Over the years they have been a part of all significant matters being handled by the firm in areas covering anti-corruption, anti-bribery, corporate crime, disproportionate assets, trap cases, money laundering, and other economic offenses. They have worked with leading bureaucrats, politicians, and high-ranking officials across various government and non-government departments, advising them on criminal law matters. Both are truly deserving of their new roles in the firm and are keen to deepen the firm’s practice and clientele in the area of white-collar crime.”
