Indian law firms Mason & Associates and Obhan & Associates have merged their practices to form Obhan Mason, marking a notable consolidation in India’s legal services market.

The merger combines strengths across intellectual property, corporate and transactional law, litigation, information technology, media and entertainment, and data protection and privacy. With this integration, Obhan Mason positions itself as a full-service law firm with broader practice depth and an expanded national presence.

The unified firm aims to enhance its advisory, regulatory and contentious offerings while streamlining operations through integrated systems, governance structures and shared knowledge platforms. The merger is also expected to deepen client relationships and strengthen sector-specific expertise across key industries.

Essenese Obhan, Founder of Obhan & Associates, will serve as Managing Partner of Obhan Mason, leading firm strategy and operations. Neel Mason, Founder of Mason & Associates, will take on the role of Of Counsel, focusing on advocacy and strategic disputes.
