Indian law firms Tandon & Co. and Aretha Legal have announced a strategic merger to establish a full-service legal practice with a national footprint and expanded capabilities across litigation, corporate advisory, and regulatory services.
The merger combines the strengths of Tandon & Co.—a seasoned litigation and regulatory firm founded in 2007—with Aretha Legal, a corporate and commercial practice launched in 2022. The unified firm will operate under the Aretha Legal name, with seven partners across offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Cochin.
Tandon & Co. was founded by Kunal Tandon, recently designated as a senior advocate by the Delhi High Court. Under the leadership of Managing Partner Aanchal Tandon—who now joins Aretha as Senior Partner—the firm earned recognition in dispute resolution, white-collar crime, and regulatory matters.
Aretha Legal was founded by Ray Vikram Nath, Nitin Gera, and Prashant Kumar, and is known for its business-focused approach across litigation, real estate, cross-border deals, M&A, private equity, and project finance.
