New Delhi/Mumbai/Bengaluru, June 25, 2025 —
Indian law firm Saga Legal has appointed Vara Gaur as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution practice, bringing her on board from Aretha Legal as part of its efforts to deepen expertise in the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) space.
Gaur, who joined Aretha Legal in September 2023 from Ortis Law Offices, brings extensive experience in technology-driven commercial litigation, platform liability, data privacy, and arbitration. She has previously worked with IndusLaw as well.
At Saga, she will lead the firm’s TMT disputes offering, leveraging her track record of representing global tech companies and Indian digital startups before the Supreme Court, High Courts, tribunals, and sector regulators.
“Vara is a welcome addition to our disputes practice,” said Gaurav Nair, Managing Partner at Saga Legal. “Her deep understanding of technology and data protection is critical as these sectors continue to evolve.”
Founded in 2016, Saga Legal has offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, advising clients across sectors such as fintech, infrastructure, energy, and healthcare on corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters.
