RegFin Legal advises India SME Fund II on ₹125 crore investment in Mantra Group

New Delhi, November 17th, 2025 —

Mantra Group, a prominent deeptech innovator in security and access-control technologies, has secured ₹125 crore ($14 million) in its maiden institutional fundraising round led by India SME Fund II, with Motilal Oswal Principal Investments also participating.

RegFin Legal acted for the lead investor India SME Fund II, with the transaction handled by Puneet Shah (Partner), Abhinav Gupta (Senior Associate), and Associates Daksh Dave, Abhishek Singh, and Nishigandha Bhadange. Founded in 2006, Mantra Group develops biometric sensors, RFID products, and AI-powered computer vision solutions backed by multiple U.S. patents.

The capital will support the creation of an AI and Computer Vision Center of Excellence and expansion of DSIR-approved R&D initiatives to fast-track product innovation across domestic and global markets.
