Intellectual property veteran Pooja Sood has left the partnership at Ortis Law Offices to establish Sood Law Offices (SLO), a boutique firm focusing on IPR based in New Delhi.
With over 20 years of experience as an IP attorney—including her role as Head of Patents at United Overseas Patent Firm—Sood has represented a diverse clientele, ranging from research institutions like IIT Delhi and ISRO to consumer-product manufacturers and AI innovators.
Her expertise spans global IP filings, prosecution, and compliance, managing trademark, design, and copyright portfolios across jurisdictions. She has collaborated with U.S. attorneys to secure a USPTO grant success rate exceeding 90% and advised food-supplement brands on FSSAI regulations, including labeling, approvals, and statutory compliance.
