Asim Abbas, previously a partner at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, has announced the opening of his own law firm, Spectra Law. The announcement was made via LinkedIn, where Abbas expressed his enthusiasm and optimism for the future.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a law firm ‘Spectra Law’,” shared Managing Partner Asim Abbas in his LinkedIn post. “Its focused areas are Telecommunication, Broadcasting, Technology, E-commerce, Data Protection, Data Centre, Cyber Security, Gaming, cloud-based services, FinTech, Healthtech etc., and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, IOT, AR, VR, block chain, etc. Thanks”

Abbas has worked as a Civil Servant for nine years in the Department of Telecommunications including as Director (Tariff and Costing). He resigned from Civil Services in 2000, and held significant positions across several esteemed law firms, including Khaitan & Co., Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM), Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), JSA Advocates & Solicitors (JSA), and Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, thereafter. In between Abbas was also associated with Bharti Airtel Ltd. as Vice President (Legal) for three years.
Currently, Asim is working as Managing Partner of Spectra Law. Spectra Law specializes in Telecommunications, Broadcasting, Technology, E-commerce, Data Protection, Data Centre, Cyber Security, Gaming, cloud-based services, FinTech, Healthtech etc., and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, OTT, IOT, AR, VR, block chain, drones, etc.
