Mumbai-based law firm Veritas Legal has appointed Rustam Mulla as a senior partner. He joins from Desai Desai Carrimjee & Mulla (DDCM), where he was the managing partner.

With nearly three decades of experience, Mulla specialises in real estate and general corporate law, while also handling complex litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.

He began his career in 1997 at Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, becoming a partner in 2001. In 2008, he co-founded DDCM.

In addition to his legal practice, Mulla is an accredited independent director with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and currently serves on the boards of both listed and private companies.

Established in 2015 by Abhijit Joshi, Veritas Legal today has 13 partners, including Sneha Nagvekar, who joined earlier this year from AZB & Partners.
