PLA Advocates opens a new office in Bengaluru, marking the firm’s entry into the southern states of India.
The firm’s three partners, Aniket Prasoon, Utsav Mukherjee and Akashdeep Singh will be handling matters at the office, with an initial team of five that is slowly expanding to 10 due to the increasing frequency of assignments and their complexity.
Mukherjee specialises in issues involving white-collar crimes, banking and corporate insolvency along with allied advisory services, while Singh will handle tax-related matters with an emphasis on indirect tax.
Currently, the firm handles client matters before the high courts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, State Regulatory Commissions, and relevant tribunals.
Founding partner Prasoon sees this expansion as the first step towards becoming a full-service law firm across major Indian regions.
The new office will focus on regulatory matters in the renewable energy sector and general commercial litigation, emphasising white-collar crimes, banking, corporate insolvency, and tax concerns.
Ghostline Legal is India’s leading, BCI-compliant, full-service tech and content firm catering exclusively to advocates and litigation chambers.
